By downloading, installing, or using the Summrize application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Summrize is an AI-powered content summarization service that processes videos, audio files, text, images, and documents to generate summaries, key points, transcripts, and other insights. The App uses third-party AI services to process your content.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all content you submit to the App
• You must not submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• You must not use the App for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes
• You must not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service

4. Credits & Subscriptions

The App uses a credit-based system. Free users receive a limited number of daily credits. Paid subscriptions provide additional credits and premium features. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms.

5. AI-Generated Content

Summaries and other outputs are generated by AI and may not be perfectly accurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You should verify important information from original sources.

6. Third-Party AI Service & Data Sharing

The App sends the content you submit (text, extracted text from URLs, documents, images, and transcribed audio) to OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI") for AI-powered summarization and transcription. No personal information such as your device identifier or account details is sent to OpenAI.

Before your content is sent to OpenAI for the first time, the App will request your explicit consent. By granting consent and using the summarization and transcription features, you agree to your submitted content being processed by OpenAI in accordance with their API data usage policies.

OpenAI's privacy policy and terms of service also apply to the processing of your content. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of OpenAI. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
